By Automobile
From: New York City (Eastside) (About 4 hrs.)
Take I-95 to I-91 north in New Haven, CT. Follow I-91 north through
CT and MA and into VT. Take Exit 2 and follow Route 9 west to Wilmington,
VT. In the village of Wilmington, take Route 100 north, 8 miles
to the yellow blinking light. Take a left 1/2 mile to Handle Road.
Take a left and the Mountaineer Inn is one tenth of a mile on the left.
From: New York City (Westside) (About 4 hrs.)
Take New State Thruway North to I-787 just outside of Albany.
Follow I-787 to Troy and take Route 7 into VT. In Vermont Route 7 becomes
Route 9. Follow Route 9 East to Wilmington, VT. In the village of Wilmington,
take Route 100 north, 8 miles to the yellow blinking light.
Take a left 1/2 mile to Handle Road. Take a left and the Mountaineer
Inn is one tenth of a mile on the left.
From: Boston, MA (About 2.5 hrs.)
Take Route 2 West to Greenfield, MA. From Greenfield take I-91
North to Brattleboro, VT. Take Exit 2 and follow Route 9 West to Wilmington,
VT. In the village of Wilmington, take Route 100 north, 8 miles to
the yellow blinking light. Take a left 1/2 mile to Handle Road.
Take a left and the Mountaineer Inn is one tenth of a mile on the left.
From: Hartford, CT (About 1.5 hrs.)
From Hartford take I-91 North to Brattleboro, VT. Take Exit 2 and
follow Route 9 West to Wilmington, VT. In the village of Wilmington,
take Route 100 (a right turn at the traffic light) north, 8 miles
to the yellow blinking light. Take a left 1/2 mile to Handle Road.
Take a left and the Mountaineer Inn is one tenth of a mile on the left.
From: Albany, NY (About 1.5 hr.)
Take I-787 to Troy and take Route 7 into VT. From Albany Airport
take Route 7 directly to Troy. In Vermont Route 7 becomes Route 9. Follow
Route 9 East to Wilmington, VT. In the village of Wilmington, take Route
100 north, 8 miles to the yellow blinking light. Take a left
